The Woodlands

There are 59 woodland sites including the railway involved in the project, covering an area of 1710 hectares. Together they are considered to be one of the best areas of Atlantic and Upland Oak Woodland in the UK. The sites have plenty of spectacular walks and scenery, with diverse and rare plant and animal species, taking you deep into the heart of the temperate rainforest of west Wales.
